I hope I’ve encouraged you to take the necessary steps to change your current health situation. Make this your day, your commitment to yourself.

It is important you work with a SHAPE practitioner through all three phases for long-term success. You’ll begin to understand why we eliminated inflammatory and immuno-suppressive food groups when you start adding back some of the foods you have been avoiding. You will experience the cause-and-effect relationship of food-related symptoms. It is important you listen to what your body is saying loud and clear.

I assure you, taking time to work through Phase II and into Phase III will make all the difference in the world with your long-term success. Certainly, if you return to all your excessive and unhealthy eating habits, you will eventually gain the weight back. SHAPE will be yet another program that failed you.

However, if we help you understand and incorporate healthier eating habits, you will have much greater success maintaining your new set-point. Some judge weight gain by how their clothes fit and we encourage you to weigh yourself from time to time and not let weight gain get out of hand ever again. It is typical to fluctuate a bit.

We encourage you to maintain stricter eating habits during the week, yet allowing for a little splurge on the weekends. For most, it doesn’t take long before they realize what triggers their weight gain and inflammatory symptoms. Remember, SHAPE is all about decreasing inflammation, enhancing immune function, detox and cleansing, and shedding excess weight just happens to be added bonus.

5.1 Keys to Success

Does everyone succeed? Unfortunately, we have seen patients fail. Rather than criticize them, we always use encouragement as our first line of defense. We always look for supplemental support for blood sugar, hypothyroidism, leptin resistance, anything that may assist their success. We typically say, don’t look at it as a setback as total failure, but rather use it as a teaching, “aha” moment. You simply had to prove to yourself that what you eat does matter and you feel better when you make healthier food choices.

More often than not, you will eventually experience that light bulb moment and allow these new habits to become your reality. We at SHAPE believe in YOU! You can do it. SHAPE can help you reach your health and weight goal. If you work the program, it will work for you! I give you my word! Winston Churchill said it best, “Never, never, never, never give up.”

From the voice of Hippocrates echoing into all our lives, we at SHAPE put a lot of emphasis on teaching you about innate healing. The human body was created and designed to heal. We’ve all seen patients on the brink of death, yet come back to health. We’ll often times say, you got a health wake-up call. Unfortunately, it can take a serious health crisis to put the focus on health where it should have been all along.

Setting your intention on long-term healthy lifestyle choices will create a ripple effect in your total health. As long as you have breath, there is hope. Every decision you make has profound consequences. The choices you make will matter. Your long-term success is based on the little things you do day-in and day-out. Never, ever give up trying to improve your health.
