My results were so dramatic and positive… it made me feel so good every day! – A.Z.

February 1, 2015 was the day that changed my health. That was the day I began the SHAPE Program through Dr. Cahill at Cahill Chiropractic Office.

The first couple months into the program, I had lost 53 lbs., and that was just the outward, visible change. By the end of my first four days, I said to my husband, “I’m afraid to say this out loud, but it seems that my joint pain is gone!” At the end of my first month, I was more energized, and according to my Fitbit, my sleep was improving. After one and a half months, my blood levels were great and most importantly, my A1C was in the normal range down from the “at risk” category it had been at the beginning of the year. At three months, I no longer needed medicine for high blood pressure.

Since I am a veteran of many past diets—some crazy and some very good, well-known programs—I feel that I have finally found, through the SHAPE Program, tenets I can utilize for the rest of my life. In previous diets I counted calories or points and found that I was always testing the boundaries. And, since I didn’t at that time understand the inflammatory properties some foods had on my body, I failed.

With the SHAPE Program, my results were so dramatic and positive, I was motivated to follow the program because it made me feel so good every day! I didn’t realize that inflammation in my lower back, hips, and knees was because of the food choices I was making as a part of my daily diet. By avoiding sugars and reducing carbs that were common in my typical meals, I have learned important nutritional truths about myself. I am continuing with Phase I because I am still working toward my goal, but it is easier because I have utilized the information available in the program literature and online to create more healthful and tasty foods that I can live with for the rest of my life.

Thank you to Dr. Joe, Christie, Peggy and staff for being the conduits to this wonderful program.
