My goal for the 2019 new year was to have the second number on the scale read a 5 by the end of the year (it fluctuated it between a 7 and 8). I came to Dr. Keen feeling tired, bloated, and overall just blah. She recommended the SHAPE Program. This was in early February. My husband and I decided to do it together as we were making family lifestyle changes to help support my son with ADHD symptoms and to change our family legacy.
After 2.5 months, we have changed so many things in our diet and learned how many substitutions there are for the dinner sides we thought we couldn’t go without. Our favorite meal is the Beef Stroganoff and our new favorite side is Mashed Cauliflower.
Fast forward to April: I am feeling great, moving better, have WAY more energy, and less inflammation. My husband is feeling great as well. As our family has made changes, our son has had an incredible transformation at school. He is able to focus on the task at hand, has discovered he is a math whiz, and has shown that he does not need pharmaceutical drugs to help him focus in the classroom. He is doing it through food!
Thank you for the lifestyle change! I’m well on my way to my goal weight. Most importantly, I am happy, healthy, almost 40, and enjoying life to the fullest!
