Grilled Chicken Tacos with Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients
Chicken
- 8 oz chicken breasts
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 Tbsp Taco Seasoning see link in recipe notes
Cabbage Slaw
- 1 cup red cabbage
- 2 Tbsp cilantro chopped
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp Celtic sea salt
For Serving
- 4 large lettuce leaves romaine, leaf, butter
- Greek yogurt
- hot sauce no added sugar or oil
- fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Marinate chicken breasts in lime juice, garlic and salt for 30 minutes. Grill until done and shred.
- While the chicken is marinating, stir together red cabbage, cilantro, lime juice and salt.
- Grill chicken until done and shred with a fork. Put in a skillet with water and Taco Seasoning and stir to combine. Heat on low for 5-10 minutes.
- Divide chicken over lettuce leaves and top with cabbage slaw, yogurt, hot sauce and cilantro.
Notes
1 serving = 4 oz protein, 1 cup vegetable
