Female, age 41 – Joint pain, lack of energy, fatigue, overweight, abdominal cramping, bloating, malaise

41-year old female presents with frequent joint pain, lack of energy, fatigue, excess weight, abdominal cramping, bloating and an overall malaise.

Patient has been a chiropractic patient at our clinic for two years during which time I brought up the benefits of the SHAPE Program with her and encouraged her to do the program. She was hesitant for several months to try the program as she felt guilty spending money on herself.

In February 2018 she began Phase I: FasTrac Cleanse. In addition to the SHAPE Drops 3 times per day, we also supplemented with Vitamin D3 with K2 from Orthomolecular at 10,000 IU’s/day for the first 2 weeks followed by 5,000 IU’s/day ongoing. Orthobiotic was recommended at 1 capsule at bedtime, Digestzyme V from Orthomolecular was prescribed for the first 30 days at 1 capsule 15 minutes prior to each meal, pH Concentrated Minerals were prescribed to address acidic urinary pH and Celtic Sea Salt was provided to be used in cooking meals.

The patient began her SHAPE Program journey on February 26, 2018 at 155 pounds.

At first follow-up on March 1, 2018, the patient weighed 145 pounds with a continued acidic urinary pH. At this time, she also complained of “gray teeth,” which was unusual for her since she had “always had extremely white teeth.” She had a consult scheduled with her dentist later that day, at which time the dentist appeared to be unconcerned. This issue resolved on its own within two days and I believe it was a sign of the detoxification process, though it is the only case in which I had seen this.

The patient continued through Phase I: FasTrac Cleanse through March 26 when she was in for her chiropractic appointment with her family and we added Optimal B12 drops to her protocol due to the continued acidic urinary pH. At her follow-up 3 days later, pH improved to a more alkaline value of 6.5.

She continued to experience dramatic success throughout the program until reaching her goal weight of 125 pounds on May 10, 2018. Symptomatology improved throughout the program, to the point where no symptoms remained well before finishing Phase I. The patient successfully completed Phase II on June 1, 2018 before moving into Phase III.

Her journey has been a tremendous success and was punctuated by her completing her first 5k run on June 2, 2018. At the conclusion of the race she drove straight to our clinic with her second-place trophy in hand, sharing tears and gratitude in describing how she could not even walk a mile without excruciating pain prior to beginning the SHAPE Program.

Dr. Todd’s Teaching Assessment

From “guilty spending money on myself” to “tears of gratitude” pretty much says it all!

I have never seen graying of the teeth as a detox symptom but believe anything is possible. It’s quite mysterious that her teeth could go from gray and in just two days back to normal? Never in my career have I witnessed this. I wonder if she ever took antibiotics for skin problems, as these antibiotics have been known for causing teeth to gray.

While I believe the SHAPE Program is a rock-solid foundation from which to start toxic burdened patients, I also believe some need additional nutraceutical support. I was impressed with the additional supplements that were added to this patient’s healing protocol. A job well done and another victory toward our collective goal of transforming healthcare one patient at a time!
