Female, age 38 – Chronic low back pain, arthritis, anxiety

38-year old, Caucasian female presents with years of chronic low back pain from arthritis.

Beginning Weight: 287

Two back surgeries resulting in the fusion of the 4th and 5th lumbar vertebra.

Patient required at least 2 ablations a year for extreme pain that was 8-10 on a scale of 10.

Patient developed insomnia due to the intense pain and her anxiety increased.

Celebrex, Ambien

Patient began SHAPE Program Phase I: FasTrac Cleanse 5/2016 and moved to Phase II in 6/2017.

Weight: 161 (loss of 126 lbs in 1 year)

The patient was able to stop taking Celebrex for pain and the Ambien for insomnia after just one month on the program. She was also able to cancel all future appointments for ablations and has not had to have one since. Her pain levels have dropped to 0-1/10 with a 90% decrease in anxiety. The patient states that she sleeps better and has so much more energy and continues to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The anti-inflammatory properties of the SHAPE Program appear to be extremely effective for chronic low back pain due to arthritis.

Please note that this patient was able to stop Celebrex and Ambien after one month on the SHAPE Program, way before 126 pounds was shed. One should ask, was she consuming a food that triggered an inflammatory cascade or was it the SHAPE Program that reduced the inflammation? I’ll bet the patient doesn’t care and is thrilled either way!

Every single day we read these types of comments in our Facebook support group. These SHAPE Warriors refer to this kind of amazing benefit from doing the SHAPE Program as NSVs, or non-scale victories. Most choosing to do the SHAPE Program are doing so because of weight challenges, but then they reap rewards with insomnia, pain, inflammation, anxiety, depression, headaches, brain fog and on and on and on.

I never, ever expected all the amazing health improvements when I was creating SHAPE ReClaimed! Amazing. Thrilling. Humbling.
