Creole Shrimp

Ingredients
- 4 oz shrimp
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth or water
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp onion minced
- 1/4 tsp horseradish
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp onion powder
- 1 bay leaf
- pinch thyme
- cayenne pepper to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium pan, add all ingredients except for the shrimp. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Add shrimp and cook thoroughly for an additional 5 minutes. Deglaze the pan periodically with additional broth or water, if necessary.
- Serve hot or cold.
