Let’s talk about pH! As you may recall from your high school chemistry class, pH stands for “potential of hydrogen.” Simply put, it’s a measure of the relative acidity and alkalinity of a solution.
Without going into the nitty gritty science stuff, here’s what pH means for you and your body:
The pH scale goes from 0 (acid) to 14 (alkaline), with 7.0 as neutral. There is a vast range of normal pH levels in the body, depending on which fluid you measure. For the SHAPE ReClaimed program, we focus on urine pH, as it is the most diagnostic for determining how you are responding to the program. Your practitioner will make adjustments or provide additional support if your pH level falls outside the optimal range (6.40-6.80).
What happens if your pH level is outside the optimal range?
Nine out of ten patients with imbalanced pH are acidic (their urine pH tests below 6.40). Acidity can manifest in a variety of ways:
- Increased pain, muscle issues
- Less tranquility
- Sleep problems
- Decreased bone density, leading to osteoporosis
- Water retention: inability to remove rings at the end of the day, difficulty making a fist after a walk, sock impressions around the ankles, inability to shed weight
- Excess mucus production, including increased congestion in the nose, sinuses and throat
- Digestive complaints, such as gas and bloating
- Fibromyalgia symptoms, such as body aches, stiffness, headaches and fatigue
Adding minerals to your diet is one of the best ways to improve body pH. Sounds easy, right? Actually, it can be challenging to get enough minerals through diet alone, especially with ever-decreasing nutrients available in fruits and vegetables today. In order to maintain an appropriate pH level in your body, you may need to supplement with minerals.
Our pH ReClaimed formula is designed to promote healthy pH levels.
What is pH ReClaimed, and what makes it different from other liquid mineral supplements?
pH ReClaimed is an all-natural trace minerals supplement. The minerals in pH ReClaimed are sea-derived and naturally harvested through solar evaporation. Our formula does not rely on chemical or mechanical separation, unlike many liquid mineral formulas that are lab-created using ratios that are not close to proportions used by humans. Some manufacturers artificially pump up the potassium so that it will quickly elevate the pH level of water, but this won’t necessarily elevate pH in the human body. The minerals in pH ReClaimed are concentrated in natural human proportions in an ionic form so they can be absorbed efficiently and effectively.
How do I use pH ReClaimed?
Our pH ReClaimed mineral drops are highly concentrated, so you should always add them to water. The recommended use is 3-4 drops per 8-10 oz. of water. For smaller women, start with 20 drops daily and work up to 40 drops or until benefits are realized. For men, start with 30-40 drops, depending on your size.
What does pH ReClaimed taste like?
Minerals (particularly magnesium) have a bitter, sour or alkaline taste, but your taste buds will adjust. We find that pH ReClaimed adds a slight mineral or lemony flavor to water.
How quickly can I expect results?
Like most natural remedies, pH ReClaimed is not a quick fix. You will experience the best results with consistent and proper use.
