Dr. Todd Frisch is the founder and developer of SHAPE ReClaimed and serves as technical advisor. He is also the coauthor of WTF? Why the Face: A Practical Guide to Understanding Health & Personality Through Facial Diagnosis. As a chiropractor for 37 years, he specialized in restorative medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, kinesiology, acupuncture, iridology, traditional Chinese medicine and facial diagnosis. His passion has always been to find the missing piece of the puzzle to help sick people get well.
Dr. Todd graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1980 and went on to obtain years of advanced education and training. He served as the president of the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture (ABCA) and the Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture (CCA). He was an educator and lecturer for the Missouri State Chiropractors Association (MSCA), Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders of the American Chiropractic Association, Inc. (CDID-ACA) and Heel, Inc.
After retiring from his private practice in 2017, Dr. Todd continues in his effort to Transform Healthcare: One Patient at a Time by teaching like-minded practitioners how to gather the diagnostic puzzle pieces that make up the unique health picture of their patients. When he’s not changing the world, he enjoys sitting by the lake, refinishing furniture, antiquing, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, reading, studying, watching the Packers and Perry Mason, and being with family.
I was only 16 when I was forced to pay attention to what my body was telling me. Unlike my friends, my stomach revolted when I ate fast food and drank soda. That was the beginning of my journey to understanding the relationship between food and vibrant health. By age 25, my second son was born and within two months, I could not deny certain foods I ate had a negative impact on my little one through nursing. The problem escalated when my son was introduced to solid food and began suffering from skin, stomach and behavioral health challenges. As fate would have it, food became the central focus of my life’s work. What we eat matters!
I met Dr. Todd in 1984, and within months we realized we shared a passion to help others heal. For the next 33 years, I managed Dr. Todd’s private practice. What he studied, I studied. From basic nutrition to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), acupuncture, and all things relating to functional medicine, I was by his side. Whatever he committed to professionally, I’ve been his right hand, his writer and messenger. We truly believe food is medicine. SHAPE ReClaimed shines a spotlight on the negative eating habits that contribute to common health challenges. Together, Dr. Todd and I believe God has ordered our steps and has set a mission before us: Transform Healthcare: One Patient at a Time.
When I’m not working, I’m in my happy place when I can hike, bike and kayak. I love a rainy day at home, cooking and setting a beautiful dinner table for my family, friends and strangers. I love to read, piece together jigsaw puzzles with a fire crackling in the fireplace and watching movies with my sweetie. I love snow and lightning storms, fireworks and bubble baths. My all-time favorite activity is spending hours piddling in my gardens with a zillion flowers.
As the Chief Value Officer at SHAPE ReClaimed, my primary role is to collaborate with the SHAPE ReClaimed team to build a business that is highly valuable through strong human, structural, customer and social capital. I deeply believe in the vision of SHAPE ReClaimed and their mission to Transform Healthcare: One Patient at a Time.
Raised in Texas and a long-time resident of Colorado, my wife Andrea and I moved to St. Louis from Colorado in winter of 2014. We first met Dr. Todd and Linda as patients in Dr. Todd’s chiropractic practice and I experienced firsthand the positive effects of the SHAPE ReClaimed program and a holistic and all-encompassing approach to health.
As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of combining the concept, effort and process of value acceleration into a clear, simple strategy. In addition to owning a private wealth management practice in St. Louis, I hold my Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation to evaluate value acceleration and succession planning for business owners and C-level executive teams.
Outside of the office, I can be found spending time with my wife and our growing family, volunteering with philanthropic organizations and our church, and hunting, skiing or playing golf.
I have been a SHAPE ReClaimed practitioner for five years. Early on, I was encouraged to embrace the SHAPE program and make it my own. As I applied the principles of the program, my practice in Northbrook, IL started to grow exponentially.
I graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 2001, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. As a lifelong learner, I have decided to complete my functional medicine certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine.
As my studies have taught me, each patient has a story to tell, but so does their body. Listening to both is essential to arriving at a true understanding of the patients’ current condition and identifying all possible ways to attain total health transformation. I wholeheartedly believe in empowering patients for success, and I am thrilled to be a technical consultant for the SHAPE ReClaimed team.
After becoming very ill in 1998, I was awakened to the idea of restoring my health through nutrition and functional medicine. My daughter was two years old at the time, and I was informed that I would die if something didn’t change quickly. I was in and out of the hospital on a weekly basis. I was sick, tired, 97 pounds overweight, and honestly, I felt hopeless.
I became passionate about researching food, nutrition and wellness. With the help of functional medicine, I changed my diet and started to see positive results. It took several years to release 97 pounds and restore my health, but I finally was feeling and looking well again. Naturally, everyone wanted to know how I did it. This began my journey as a personal chef and coach with Vitality Consultants, LLC.
This is my opportunity to pay it forward and work hand in hand with functional medical professionals nationwide to support their treatment plans, support people who are facing inflammatory conditions, support our nation’s health naturally, and increase vitality.
I am from DeSoto, MO, where I met Scott, the love of my life, when I was 12 years old. We married in June 2018. He has been 100% supportive of my love for and involvement with SHAPE ReClaimed, and he appreciates our mission to TRANSFORM HEALTHCARE: One Patient at a Time.
Getting involved with SHAPE was a God thing! I graduated from Missouri State University in May 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising and Promotions. A mutual acquaintance told Linda Frisch I was looking for employment in the St. Louis area, and the rest is history.
I have served the SHAPE community since July 2014. From handling daily tasks and assisting SHAPE practitioners to communicating with SHAPE Warriors and coordinating special events, my job is exceedingly rewarding. I am so thankful to be a part of this team and working toward something so much bigger than myself.
As the youngest daughter of SHAPE ReClaimed’s founder, I have loved learning from my dad about the fascinating and successful ways that he’s been able to help sick people get well. My passion for nutrition really grew when he diagnosed me with insulin resistance and adrenal fatigue and then taught me how I could heal myself (which I did less than six months later!)
I began my career in the health and nutrition field in 2004 as a sales representative and educator for several companies, including three different health food stores. While I have a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho, my best education was helping customers find solutions to their health problems. After finding great success with the SHAPE ReClaimed program as a patient, I became a SHAPE practitioner. Today, I am working towards a PhD and serve at SHAPE Central, where I get to combine my passion for nutrition with my love of writing, marketing and design.
Every day, I get to go home to my amazing musician husband and adorable, vivacious son who fill me with joy and love.
Abbie is also the coauthor of WTF? Why the Face: A Practical Guide to Understanding Health & Personality Through Facial Diagnosis.
I’m the Fulfillment Specialist for SHAPE ReClaimed, where I have handled the shipping, receiving and inventory management since Spring 2017. I graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition with a Health Coach Certification in 2017. I have a passion for learning, being a good steward of the Earth and helping others.
I am so grateful to work with such an amazing, supportive and gracious team. I’m happy that I get to put my energy into each order that ships out, knowing that it will positively impact families and transform lives.
As a successful SHAPE patient who has been in maintenance for two years, I understand how life-changing this program can be, not only for me but also for my husband of 24 years and my two teenaged boys. That’s why I’m excited to bring 22 years of professional expertise as a writer and editor to SHAPE ReClaimed, where I’ll serve as Master Wordsmith and Facebook Strategist.
I graduated from Oakland University in 1996. My professional background includes more than 20 years of content development and strategy for some of the world’s top brands, including Walmart, Wells Fargo, Verizon Wireless, Honda and American Cancer Society. I’ll apply what I’ve learned from these leading companies to help grow SHAPE’s online presence. When I’m not working, I love to cook, read, sew and sing. I also serve on the board of a ministry in Haiti.
I am the proud mother of four very active kids, ranging in age from 9 to 15. I’ve been happily married for the last 22 years and call Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada home. I have a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree from the University of Manitoba. I started my own bookkeeping business in 2005 in order to be able to stay home and raise my kids. Since then, I have grown my business substantially and am happy to say that I have a very diverse and international client base.
My family had a very exciting opportunity to live in St. Louis, Missouri from 2013-2017, and that is when and where I made the connection to SHAPE ReClaimed. I am very excited to be a part of this team, and I plan to bring process improvements and efficiencies, organization and accurate financial reporting to the business. I hope to also bring a fresh business perspective and ideas on how to grow and take SHAPE ReClaimed to the next level.
As the president of The Brain Mill, I have been providing Dr. Frisch with his technology needs for the last 20 years. While Dr. Frisch has always believed that technology was just a fad and not something to be concerned with, I have been able to show the value that technology can bring to their operations. This has included managing the setup of multiple websites and systems throughout the SHAPE ReClaimed family. I have found that while many in my field like to talk about the technology, my focus is on the results of using technology wisely by making it functional work as planned.
I was born and raised in St Louis and I enjoy spending my free time with family, friends and in the outdoors
As a technical support specialist at The Brain Mill, I strive to provide smooth, personal tech support for the SHAPE ReClaimed family. When it comes to health transformation, the last thing anyone wants to worry about is the technical aspects of navigating a website or getting the computer to cooperate. That’s where I come in. I work directly with the entire SHAPE ReClaimed staff to facilitate smooth operation of their computers, network and technology. If you find yourself having some technical difficulties, I’m happy to help.
I have been working with Dr. Todd and Linda since I came on board with The Brain Mill in 2011. It has been an honor and a privilege to help them grow SHAPE ReClaimed to what it is today and to see it help so many people.
