Recipe type: Phase 1 FasTrac
  1. Beef layer:
  2. Saute 1 diced onion until translucent
  3. Add 1 pound ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add the following all at once:
  5. tbsp Garlic, diced
  6. ½ tsp Celtic sea salt,
  7. ½ tsp Ground coriander
  8. ½ tsp Oregano,
  9. ½ tsp Basil
  10. ½ tsp Crushed red pepper
  11. ½ tsp Thyme
  12. tsp Sage
  13. can Crushed tomatoes
  14. can Diced tomatoes (organic)
  15. Coconut aminos (this one not sure on – maybe ¼ cup. I jiggled some out until the pan was wet with it.
  16. Cook until most of the liquid is boiled off. Set aside.
  17. “Potato Layer”
  18. Boil two cauliflowers in chicken broth with garlic & celtic sea salt.
  19. When cauliflower easily falls apart, strain off the liquid.
  20. Blend the strained cauliflower and 1 tsp of Sage into a 'mashed potato-like' texture. I used an immersion blender, but mixer or food processor will work.
  21. Pour beef layer into 9x9 baking dish.
  22. Cover the beef layer with the mashed cauliflower.
  23. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  24. Move to top rack and broil for 5 minutes (watch it closely).
