Billy’s Garbage Soup
Recipe type: Phase I FasTrac
  • 5 Cans of Hunts Seasoned Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 Can of original Rotel
  • 2 Stalks of Celery sliced thin
  • 2 cups of diced onion
  • 1 big container of fresh mushrooms
  • All colored peppers – 2 each (I used red, yellow and orange) (diced)
  • 4 Green zucchini (diced small)
  • One bag of cauliflower pellets (I broke down my own head of cauliflower)
  • ½ cup minced garlic
  • ¼ cup of Frank’s hot sauce
  • Season with low sodium chili powder ¼ cup
  • You can add cabbage if you prefer
  • Either 2.5 lbs of turkey, lean ground beef
  • 1 container of no-salt chicken broth
  1. The key is sautéing the veggies first in garlic, a little grape seed oil or coconut oil , little braggs and chicken broth!
  2. Brown your meat adding the chili powder and a nice squirt of braggs
  3. Combine your sauteed veggies, canned tomatoes and meat in one large pot (my pot was not big enough so I used half of the veggies and froze the rest) Add remaining chicken stock, if needed, to meet the consistency to your liking. Billy and I prefer it thicker.
  4. Simmer for ½ to hour and remember you can have fun with this recipe and add any veggies and meat that you like!
